Recorder

Room 13 got to play with the recorder. We were trying to play some of the notes. Some of us Then me and Siua got the notes right so we got to choose a new instrument. We chose the ukulele. We were playing it outside as we were trying to tune it, but we couldn’t. Then we had to go back inside, Miss KIng told uOsa to play the song on the glockenspiel and he got it right.

Little Garden

Yesterday we were planting plants. We got to pick a little garden. We put the soil in a container and we put water on our little garden. The soil was growing fast then we smashed it. We put the soil back in the little bucket. Then i put the seeds in the bucket and put the rest of the soil on top. My plant needs water, soil and sun to grow.

Little Red Riding Hood

I have been working hard to learn how to use iMovie. My friends and I filmed the story of Little Red Riding Hood with our teacher. I drew the picture of Grandma's house.
We learnt to do green screen, add voice overs and even a Garageband.  It was hard work and my teacher helped us a lot to learn lots of new skills.

The Bush

Room 13 went to the bush. We found some sticks for me and Lee to make a hut.  l went to

Oas he was climbing a tree and he broke the tree. He was still  holding on even though it had broken. We tried to lift the log u but it was too heavy. .l found a seat for me, it was a tree stump. l looked under the seat they were bugs and beetles. Then Miss King said 2 more minutes l saw Caleb with a big log. Miss King said it was time to go back to school.

Cross Country

• lt was a hot and sunny and we were waiting for our cross country race. L was feeling neruous while l sat on the concrete. We lined up and were ready to race.
• L run as fast as l cold  l crossed the finish line l love cross country we covered in mud
• As quickly as l could l ran through the muddy grass chasing my friend. Out of breath sore legs my heart  was  beating son fast but l never gave up filled with energy l started to sprint to the finish line.

Stardome

On Wednesday team 3 visited the Stardome Observatory at Cornwall Park. We  played in the park with our friends. We were excited to go to the Stardome. We went into the stardome and we went in  inside the classroom. We were so excited to learn we learnt  so much about how Venus is hotter than mercury because venus has 100000 blankets and 10 hats around it. That’s what make it hot. Then we went back into the bus we sang Step by Step all the way back to school.
