opening of the bike track

Last week l went to the opening of the bike track we sat in the hot sun listening to people singing waiata. Some lucky children got to go for a ride l wish l had a turn

the creek

On Wednesday we lined up at the gate with team 3. We went to the creek to clean the disgusting creek. First we walked to the horrible creek it smelt stinky like Mr Moran’s armpits. Next we went to the farm and picked up terrible rubbish and we saw a horse. We stopped to talk to the horse. Finally we went to play tag on the park before we went back to school.

Duffy Show

I want to the hall with my class to see the Duffy Show. It was about saving the world and to get more trees. l liked it  because it had funny characters.

Omaru Creek

This morning I went for a walk with my class to see the Omaru creek. I saw ducks and pukeko because we are going to change this rubbishy creek.

The Bird

Dear Bird,

How did you die? We bless you with all of our heart.

We were walking in the morning on our way to the park when we found you. So Jermaine asked Mr Shaw for a shovel to take care of you. We wanted to take care of you because you are God’s creature.

Lee took the shovel and scooped you up gently. We carried you to the farm and we stopped under a tree.

Anthony started digging the hole, then everybody had a turn. Finally we put you in the hole and Lee said a prayer for you.

We all walked nicely back to our class.

We love you and we hope that you rest in peace and live with God.
